Plants vs. Zombies on XBOX Live

PopCap's new tower defense game is coming to the Xbox 360 via Live Arcade. With PopCap Games' Plants vs. Zombies, players set up their garden as a last line of defense against the undead hordes for an experience that is simultaneously cute and complex. WorthPlaying met with Garth Chouteau of PopCap Games up at Casual Connect , whereupon he revealed that Plants vs. Zombies would be coming to the Xbox 360. Chouteau, "revealed that P vs. Z is coming to XBLA, but did not elaborate any further on whether we can expect extras such as achievements, multiplayer or even a release date." It's no surprise that the game is coming to the console, as PopCap recently revealed it wanted to bring it to more systems. Presumably, this won't be happening for a little while, as the game doesn't even have an upcoming release page on Xbox.com. We will keep you posted as to when it's available.

POPCAP GAMES

PopCap Games was founded by John Vechey, Brian Fiete and Jason Kapalka in 2000. They wanted to create games, firstly by learning from other Internet gaming sites. Their first game was Bejeweled, a huge-hit gem-swapping game, which was supported on all major platforms and awarded by Computer Gaming World Hall Of Fame in 2002.

What can I say other than Popcap is a giant in the filed of gaming. Now you can find Popcap games on XBOX Live and The Playstation Network , and all are kid frindly and father aprovied.

New Brain-Wave Toy Lets You Do 'Jedi Mind Trick'

Wednesday, July 01, 2009
Uncle Milton's 'Star Wars'-themed Force Trainer, which lets you levitate a ball using brain waves. The Force can be with anyone now. Later this summer, anybody anywhere will have the ability to physically move stuff with their minds like characters do in "Star Wars." No joke. A new toy that harnesses the same technology doctors use to monitor brain waves will arrive in stores in August. The toy moves when it senses a change in the user's brain-wave patterns. "It's pretty cutting-edge," says Frank Adler, executive vice president of Uncle Milton Industries, the toy company that manufactures the "Star Wars"-branded Force Trainer. "It certainly appears to be where things are headed." it will be if the reaction from 5-year-old "Star Wars" fanatic Ryan Mogg is any indication. Mogg tried out the Force Trainer at a recent "Star Wars" toy fair. In less than a minute, he was controlling the rise and fall of a pingpong ball in a clear tube — with his brain waves.

"It's like what Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul do!" he said afterward with a big grin.
